In building the 2JetZ, Rodriguez was inspired by the record-breaking automobiles that raced the Bonneville Salt Flats, jet-powered aircraft, and a sketch from Hot Wheels designer Dwayne Vance. The futuristic, yet retro styling of the car is a shining example of the creativity, originality and automotive spirit that makes Hot Wheels such a household name. Handcrafted by Luis Rodriguez, the 2JetZ would go on to be the first-ever winner of the Hot WheelsLegends Tour.
